Four years after his last appearance for Italy, Mario Balotelli is being offered a chance to return to the Italian team, by Coach Roberto Mancini.
According to Italian journalist, Fabrizio Romano, who made this disclosure in a tweet on Saturday, an official statement is expected in this direction shortly.

Balotelli has scored 14 goals in 36 appearances for the European champions, but the 31-year-old hasn’t represented Italy since September 2018.
He was a key member of the Italian U21 team from 2008–2010, scoring seven goals in 18 matches before his elevation to the senior team.
Balotelli made his first appearance for the Italy senior team on August 10, 2010, as part of the squad announced by new head coach Cesare Prandelli, in a friendly match against the Ivory Coast, Italy’s first match after the 2010 World Cup. He started the match alongside debutant Amauri and striker Antonio Cassano in a 1–0 loss.
Balotelli scored his first senior international goal on November 11, 2011 in a 2–0 win against Poland at Stadion Miejski in Wrocaw, Poland. He also set up Italy’s second goal of the match.
Notable for his scoring prowess as much as wild behavior, Balotelli has traversed Europe since signing his first professional contract with Lumezzane in 2005. He has also played for Inter Milan, Manchester City, Milan, Liverpool, Nice, Marseille, Brescia, Monza and his current Turkish Super Lig club, Adana Demirspor, where he has scored eight goals in 19 matches since joining them on July 7, 2021.
He was part of the Azzurri squad that finished as runners-up at 2012 UEFA European Championship and the team that came third at FIFA Confederations Cup the following year.
